About Diamond Dog Resort
Diamond Dog Resort is a small, family-owned boutique dog boarding facility
located in a peaceful and tranquil setting in a wooded area.
We have a maximum capacity of 14 dogs and provide personalized attention and care,
treating the dogs as if they are part of the family.
The facility has indoor and outdoor spaces, including a large fenced-in area where the dogs can run and play.

Located in wooded area south of Frederick, north of Urbana, west of Ijamsville
Maximum capacity of 14 dogs for personalized attention
20+ year old facility with indoor/outdoor runs, 8000 sq ft fenced area
Each dog gets a climate-controlled indoor kennel that is 3x3 in size, attached to a 9 x3 outdoor run space
Separate spaces for aggressive/loud dogs to avoid disturbing others
Utilization of the Genesis 2.6 HOCL atomizer which cleanses the air and all surfaces, reducing the spread of dangerous airborne pathogens.
Small farm with cows, goats, chickens for "doggy TV" entertainment

Your DDR Hosts
Joshua Phipps, Canine Captain
Josh grew up in Doylestown, PA where he had a best friend, a Boxer, named Percy. They were inseparable. Subsequently, Josh has been an avid dog lover throughout his life and decided to open Diamond Dog Resort in 2021. Josh understands the healing capacity through the companionship of dogs. He strives to take good care of each and every dog who walks through the facility.
On the side, Josh runs a health IT business which handles government contracts. He also loves BMW’s, European motorcycles, and triathlon training.
Alina Lightchaser, Canine Co-Captain
Alina grew up in California and loves all animals. She takes care of the back end management of Diamond Dog Resort. She will find a need and fill the position, making things run efficiently. Alina also heads Gaia Goddess Gardens, the farm on the property.
On the side, Alina is a practitioner of the healing arts. Her love of service to others is apparent in the vast treatment modalities she has to offer. If you’re curious, please don’t hesitate to ask her any questions!
